Another exciting week has flown by!  I am so impressed with the work the students are showing me.  Today, we had a very long assembly that they all sat so politely through.  The students were learning all about Terry Fox and the wonderful work that has been done in his name.  We are doing our Terry Fox walk next Thursday afternoon.
Congratulations Ali for earning the Character Development Award for the month of September for showing lots of RESPECT!

Week #3!

Time is already flying by!  We finally got to meet the last two of our friends last Friday when Lamar and Shamar were finally able to join us at school!  We were all so happy to meet them!  We are practicing knowing our phone numbers togethers.  Hopefully, you are all working on them together at home.  It is so important that our children know their own numbers!  The one for the school is 416-394-2226

Our Second Week

Happy Tuesday!

Thanks to all of you for returning all of your forms as well as reading, writing in, and signing the planners every night!

We are in our second week of classes here and the students are all doing so well!  We have begun our language and math assessments so that I know how best to teach your children.  They are really showing me their best work and trying hard!  I am very proud.  We are also starting our study of responsibility, so our children will begin to show us more and more responsibility both at home and at school.

Don't forget to read with your child every night!

It has been a fun week so far!  I was sad to be away yesterday!

Two days of school gone by and we are doing so well! The kids are great and really getting along well together! I am away tomorrow because of the Jewish New Year, but will gladly be back on Friday to continue teaching our children the rules and routines of our class.
The big news of the day: We got a class plant, we named him George 'The Beehive' Baron. Pictures to follow soon!
